about

This is a collection of nu-jazz-songs. They were composed with modal scales, poly-rhythms, and a well-known method that converts the vowels in a word or phrase to create a starting melody. Icelandic place names were used, names such as Sundhnjukagígaroo and Thainsskjaldarhraun, the Icelandic language being so rich in vowels. Mostly, the song titles are English translations of the Iceland place names.
